Construcciones Metálicas Montrasa started its activity in May 1975 with the aim of providing a service to the Asturian industry.
Our offices are located in the Parque Empresarial Principado de Asturias.
Our workshop for the manufacture of equipment, boilermaking, piping and mechanization is located in these facilities.
This infrastructure allows us to guarantee autonomy in the manufacture and repair of parts and spare parts to meet the needs of our customers.
Regarding industrial maintenance, CM Montrasa has a solid track record in works related to steel, cement, metallurgical, ceramics, thermal power plants, metal-mechanical and large port terminals, enhancing our services to support the renewable energy industry. Our main lines of work are focused on meeting the needs of our customers in the maintenance of industrial plants, manufacturing and assembly of pipelines, we are specialists in the maintenance and assembly of cranes and tracks, we perform industrial assemblies in chemical plants, cement plants, power generation, in the metallurgical and steel sector as well as manufacturing in our boiler shop, piping and machining.
In CM Montrasa we have a permanent commitment with the continuous improvement and we work day by day to achieve the satisfaction of our customers, to minimize the environmental impact produced by the activities we develop and to guarantee the safety and health of the people who participate in them. To achieve this, we have implemented an Integrated Management System in which the quality, environmental and occupational risk prevention systems are merged, allowing us a unique approach to the establishment of strategic objectives. This system is certified in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 and applies to all our processes. We are certified to EN 1090 for the execution of steel structures and to ISO 3834 Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials, Part 2: Full quality requirements. We are included in the Register of Suppliers and Contractors (REPRO) and in the Register of Accredited Companies for Construction Works (REA).
We are also authorized by the General Directorate of Industry as installers of gas installations category A, installers of liquid petroleum products installations category PPL II, installers and maintainers of pressure equipment and installers of low voltage electrical installations, specialist category.
CM Montrasa is carrying out an interesting project in collaboration with the Idonial Foundation in the study of joining technology for the study of the metallurgical and mechanical properties of welding for the renewable energy market.
